Jawbone Icon “The Thinker” Bluetooth Headset Review
With waves upon waves of Bluetooth headsets already on the market, it can be difficult to know which one to spend money on. So, with the emphasis here on the Jawbone Icon “The Thinker” Bluetooth Headset, what can this Headset offer that stands it apart from the others? This headset is the smallest Jawbone model available but is just as comfortable and easy to wear. Many users have expressed their love of this particular model, commenting not only on its simplicity to use but also its durability as well.
As with some other Bluetooth devices, the quality of the sound through the headset may depend on the weather. With windy conditions, say, the sound coming through may not be the best. This Jawbone model is, however, the only Bluetooth model to incorporate a sensor-fusion wind filter meaning that the user will no longer have to ask the speaker to make themselves louder. The sound will be clear come rain or shine. Complementing this feature is the NoiseAssassin 2.5 feature. This is a noise cancellation feature which, making this product very popular, allows for the expression of a far superior sound quality.
Another impressive aspect of the Jawbone Icon “The Thinker” Bluetooth Headset to mention is the talk-time. The 4.5 hours of talk-time available means that users can talk for a longer amount of time and, setting this device apart from others, is a longer time than any other Bluetooth models. The device can also last up to 10 hours on standby is another added bonus, especially for busy people who need to contact each other on a regular basis.
Comfort is also important for the user. This particular model comes with 7 different sizes of ear bud so the user can see what benefits them the most. The model also comes with an adjustable ear loop. This is for optional wear however, and is greatly advantageous for people who wear glasses who otherwise may have experienced discomfort.
A favourite new feature has been the addition of an on/off button. The device can be switched on simply and eliminates the need to hold the switch down for a long period of time to turn it off. The old way of switching the device on and off meant that sometimes the set was left on accidentally and thus wearing out the power. This is reversed here however.
To summarise, this Jawbone Icon “The Thinker” Bluetooth Headset model is well worth the asking price. For people who talk for long periods of time but want the use of both hands will love this new Jawbone design. With a host of new features, this is definitely a Bluetooth headset that stands apart from the rest.
